This piece shown on this page is a Student Project i was set to Direct, Script and Storyboard. This story was about a 8 year old girl (Alex) in the hospital dying of cancer then the personification of Death comes along to ease her into the "Other Side" (death) 
Alex at first didnt want to accept her death as she was afraid. she didnt want to be alone. After a bit of non-verbal persuasion, Death realise what Alex really wanted. Death showed Alex that she could be reunited with her deceased father again and that Death was not the end. Alex died happy and in the arms of her long lost loving father into a new world. unfortunately, it left her Mother, whom is still alive, all alone after her heart flatlined.

This short story has a bitter sweet ending. it had no morality to the story, but i decided to make this to put feelings into the audience hearts and make them feel that some concepts of life and death isn't as scary as it seems.

The animation was supposed to be 3D cell-shaded and i had a great team working on the Technicality of the project while i was working on the Story and its many changes weekly. Adam Danial was the Art Director and did most of the Character Designs, also found out how to create a cartoon-like outline out for 3D characters. and Creig Koh worked on the 3D mesh and Background. we only had 8 fixed hours a week for 5 months to work on this from scratch-up, though i wish we had more.

Unfortunately, my project was not approved due to unconfirmed reasons. one lecturer told us that my story promoted "assisted suicide" and another said that "no father would ask their daughter to die". unfortunately, those were not the messages i made when writing the story. mostly that Death isn't the end.

I have compiled the Storyboards in an Animatic Format to show timing and audio cues. unfortunately we didnt manage to put our 3D characters in their places before my project was canceled. and i cant post it on my website as i had little to do on actually making them and i give full credit to my friend Creig Koh.
the Music was done by my friend Neville Lee. the Storyboard, and editing is all done by me.
